The Mallpai Ramadan Iftar Project is a compassionate initiative aimed at providing meals and support to Almajiris, the less privileged, and people with disabilities during the holy month of Ramadan. Understanding the significance of Ramadan as a time of giving and solidarity, the project organizes daily Iftar (breaking of fast) events across various communities, ensuring that those who are vulnerable or struggling can participate in the blessings of the holy month without worrying about food insecurity.
The project specifically focuses on Almajiri children, who often face severe deprivation, as well as other marginalized groups, including people with disabilities. By offering not only nutritious meals but also a sense of community and belonging, the initiative promotes social inclusion and spiritual upliftment. Through this project, the Mallpai Foundation aims to embody the spirit of Ramadan by extending a helping hand to those in need, fostering empathy, and reinforcing the values of charity and togetherness.
